How to Use Layerre with Webflow
Webflow's CMS powers dynamic pages — blog posts, portfolio items, product pages, team profiles. By connecting Webflow CMS to Layerre, you can automatically generate unique images for each CMS item: OG images, featured graphics, and social share visuals.
What is Webflow?
Webflow is a visual web development platform that combines a design tool, CMS, and hosting. Its CMS Collections let you create structured content that powers dynamic pages. Webflow integrates with Make, Zapier, and n8n for automation workflows.
Use Cases: Webflow + Layerre
CMS item → OG image
When a new blog post or page is published in Webflow CMS, Layerre generates a branded OG image with the page title, author, and category. The image URL is written back to the CMS item.
Portfolio item → social share graphic
For portfolio or case study items, generate a branded share graphic that includes the project name, client, and a key visual. Visitors who share the page see a professional preview.
Product launch pages → hero images
Generate dynamic hero images for product or feature pages using the CMS item's title, subtitle, and icon. Consistent branding without manual design for each page.
Team page → team member cards
Generate branded team member cards from Webflow CMS data (name, role, photo). Use as social share images or downloadable contact cards.
How It Works
- 1Design your image templates in Canva (OG images, social graphics, etc.)
- 2Import into Layerre and note the template ID and layer names
- 3Set up a Make or Zapier automation triggered by new Webflow CMS items
- 4Map CMS fields (title, slug, author, featured image) to Layerre template layers
- 5Write the generated image URL back to a CMS field (e.g., "og_image") using the Webflow API
