How to Use Layerre with Airtable

5 min read

Airtable is a popular database platform for managing structured content. By connecting it to Layerre via Make or Zapier, you can automatically generate design variants from your Airtable records — product cards from catalog data, certificates from attendee lists, or social posts from content calendars.

What is Airtable?

Airtable is a cloud-based database platform that combines the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the power of a relational database. Teams use it for content calendars, product catalogs, CRM, project management, and more. It offers a rich API and integrates with automation platforms like Make, Zapier, and n8n.

Use Cases: Airtable + Layerre

Product catalog → product cards

Maintain your product catalog in Airtable with product name, price, description, and photos. When a new product is added, Layerre generates product card images for your website, social media, and marketplace listings.

Content calendar → social media graphics

Plan your social content in an Airtable base with post copy, scheduled date, and image references. Layerre generates the visual for each post automatically when the content is approved.

Event attendees → certificates

Track event attendees in Airtable. After the event, trigger Layerre to generate personalized certificates for every attendee and email them automatically.

Campaign briefs → ad creatives

Store ad campaign briefs in Airtable with headlines, body copy, CTAs, and product images. Layerre generates all creative variants and links the images back to the Airtable record.

How It Works

  1. 1Set up your Airtable base with the data fields you need (text, image URLs, etc.)
  2. 2Import your Canva template into Layerre and note the template ID and layer names
  3. 3Create a Make or Zapier automation with Airtable as the trigger (new/updated record)
  4. 4Map Airtable fields to Layerre template layers in the automation action
  5. 5Add an output step: write the generated image URL back to Airtable, or save to Google Drive/email
